our weekend

Travis made the best ribs tonight.  I'm not kidding. He actually surprised me! ;)

This morning I decided to go grocery shopping at the crack of dawn (or 8 o'clock in the morning) to beat the crowd. I picked us up some pork ribs for tonight and pork butt for tomorrow night (pulled pork sandwiches)!  That will last us a few days.  I'll make sandwiches and tacos with the meat.  Those are my favorite with homemade guacamole. YUM-O.

The rest of the weekend was filled with volunteering for the Junior League. Our event was a huge success.  We were able to give 475 children FREE books.  Both pups got a much needed bath and tomorrow Travis and his mom are spring cleaning in our backyard.  yay for mother in laws that like to do yard work!
I like to mow but pulling weeds and raking isn't much fun to me.
